Since my last entry, I did three more days in a row...and then stopped. Between feeling ill, kids feeling ill and other activities, I chose to forgo exercise and be lazy. Probably not a good thing.
So, I'm hopping back on the treadmill (again). Hopefully this time it will last. I really want my rewards, but I am not getting them if I don't meet my goals.
Today wasn't as bad as I thought. I listened to my usual playlist of Nightwish, which helps to "speed" up the time and get me in the Zone.
I think that's part of my problem; I fear doing the treadmill will be painful, and of course, it takes time out of my day. This is time I would rather be spending writing, or being plain lazy. My housework does suffer a little because I'm wiped out, but I need to prioritize and remember that my health is important. It's funny though -- I always feel better after exercising. I don't know why it's such a struggle.
Well, here's to hoping I can actually stick with it this time!
Today's time: 37:51 minutes; Cal: 164 (this is according to 150 lbs to the treadmills meter); and 1.36 miles.
